AFROTECH is the largest annual technology conference dedicated to the Black tech community, convening engineers, founders, investors, and corporate leaders from around the world. Founded by Morgan DeBaun and launched by Blavity Inc., the conference exists to bridge the gap between Black talent and opportunity—centering professional growth, innovation, and community at massive scale.

We designed and built the AFROTECH Conference website to support an event drawing more than 40,000 attendees, balancing clarity, energy, and performance under real-world demands. The experience needed to communicate credibility to enterprise partners while remaining welcoming and inspiring to first-time attendees. Through clear information architecture, bold editorial moments, and scalable design systems, the site supports recruiting, programming discovery, and networking—positioning AFROTECH as both a career catalyst and a cultural force shaping the future of technology.
